If you need data and are not a member, consider joining. This program alone is worth the dues. If not, some limited data is published by the US Department of Commerce and similar agencies of other nations.

Quarterly Generator Shipment Survey

EGSA's Marketing Trends Committee has developed a statistical program available exclusively to members; the report is not sold or provided to anyone outside the association.

Responding to comments from EGSA members, EGSA developed a statistical program that contains data from almost all of the major generator manufacturers. It reports concrete data, aggregated by kW size and rpm of the generators, and also broken down by major sections of the globe (North America, Europe, Asia, etc.).
